1 stick butter (4 oz, browned and cooled to room temperature) 1/4 cup white sugar 1 cup light brown sugar 1 egg + 1 egg yolk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 6 oz. dark chocolate (cut into 1/2 inch chunks) 1/2 cup dried cranberries 1/2 cup fresh cranberries 1/2 teaspoon good quality salt (for sprinkling on top before baking)

Transfer the browned butter to a small bowl, making sure to scrape the sides of the pan to get ALL of the butter. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes, or until the butter is mostly solidified but still soft. Refrigerate dough for at least one hour 1 hour, or up to 5 days.

Bake at 350ºF for 11 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
