Early Mother's Day celebration.
Homemade pan fried shanghainese buns, used high strength gluten and baking powder in an overnight fridge ferment dough. I could have used a bit more chicken jelly and I went harder on the seasoning as the woollies pork mince I bought had an awful stench to it.
Served with a clay pot seafood coogee (low GI with millet, mung bean and rice mix), stock made from half a kilo of prawn shells and a secret spoon of peanut butter!
Last in picture, a pumpkin flower adorned green onion and egg pancake.
